Stack

• Astro — static HTML/CSS/JS (`output: 'static'`).
• Markdown essays in src/content/writing/.
• Hostinger Custom HTML — deploy the dist/ folder.
• No WordPress, no SSR, no page builder.

Publish path

Chad writes in Drafts. A publish action POSTs JSON to a webhook that commits Markdown to GitHub; CI builds and uploads dist/ to Hostinger. Seedocs/DEPLOY.md and docs/drafts-publish.js.

Inspiration

Interaction model inspired by ped.ro(conversational bio, sparse chrome) — original execution and content, not a clone. Energy also from Benji Taylor’s note that a personal site should feel like leaving the rest of the internet.

Type

Inter (Google Fonts) with system-ui fallbacks. Dark tokens from SPEC §5.2; subtle time-of-day shifts via data-period.

Sound

Optional UI ticks on hotspot open / dock switch. Default: off.
